Bose in different parts of Europe (1933-1936) - contd-1

With Patel's help Bose was trying to sort out his paper work India abroad . Patel had been doing propaganda work for India for some time.

For Patel and Bose , it meant disseminating  positive and accurate information about India's national Struggle against the British Raj and about India's great cultural achievements. The second half of 1933 was darkened for Bose due to the serious illness of Patel, who was moved to Switzerland Bose went there to be near him and to try to improve his own health, which steal had not greatly improved. As patel grew more gravely ill, Bose helped to nurse him and Bose was ith him wheen he breathed his last in late October, 1933. Now he lamented that another Congress giant  - one of the few along with Das and Motilal Nehru, all of whom he considered peers of Gandhi  - had gone and only, or mostly, 'yes men' were left.
Patel bequeathed to Bose a political and financial legacy and the latter turned into a long legal involvement with Sardar Patel, younger brother of V.Patel, Not only he yielded any good result but also he lost a good relation with Sardar Patel, an out and out Gandhian.
Subhas Bose came back to Vienna and began to learn about developments there, in particular, with the developments of Vienna Municipality.
